Pizza Scrolls

INGREDIENTS
Puff pastry (each sheet will make approx 6 scrolls) 1 egg, beaten

FILLING SUGGESTIONS
Green pesto & tasty cheese
Salami, tasty cheese & tomato paste
Ham, tasty cheese & tomato

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan-forced).
Prepare and grease a muffin pan.

Defrost however many sheets of puff pastry you need for the qty of scrolls you’d like (see above).

Spread the base onto each sheet (either tomato paste or pesto).

Top with any meats (ham/salami) and cheese.

Roll up the sheet, removing the plastic from the sheet as you do so.
Cut each slice into approx 6 slices, then put each slice into the muffin tray.

Using a pastry brush, add a little pre-beated egg to the exposed pastry in the tin (around the outsides and on the top) - this helps with that golden glaze.

Cook for approx 12 mins or until golden.

Suitable to freeze for up to 3 months.
